I started at a Show Ski team in Wisconsin. After attending a few clinics I began to compete.

Tell us about your first tournament
It was Midwest Regionals in 2005 at Frame Park in Wisconsin. I was in Boys 2 and I was about 13 years old and I took 3rd in tricks.
How did you feel the first time you barefooted?
I was overcome with euphoria and adrenaline. I was about 9 or 10 and had only seen older guys on my show team barefoot. I could not believe that it was happening.
Why do you continue to barefoot?
I love the feeling and the sport along with the people involved. I feel that striving to be the best you can in something makes you better in all aspects of your life. Barefooting does that for me.
