2023 IWWF Open, Junior & Under 23 World Barefoot Championships
February 12th – 19th, 2023

The Open Junior & Under 23 IWWF World Barefoot Championships are set to take place February 12th – 19th, 2023 at the Max Kirwan Ski Lakes, Mulwala, New South Wales Australia, making it the first in almost 5 years.

The addition of the Under 23 division is to provide an opportunity for junior skiers who missed out on competing in the 2020 Worlds to compete in a World Championships.

Independent Qualifying Scores For 2023 IWWF World Barefoot Championships.

Skiers who are not selected for their National Team can qualify to compete as an independent skier as per the IWWF Barefoot Water-Ski Technical Rules.

The qualifying period shall start January 1st, 2018, being the year of the most recent IWWF Barefoot World Championship and shall conclude 4 weeks prior to the upcoming IWWF Barefoot World Championships.
Note: The Rule only applies to Open and Juniors.

The qualifying score for independent skiers are as follows:

Male
Junior Jump 11.6 Tricks 1430 Slalom 7.85
Open Jump 18.2 Tricks 3730 Slalom 16.0

Female
Junior Jump 8.0 Tricks 540 Slalom 3.1
Open Jump 9.2 Tricks 1100 Slalom 6.9
