Interview
  What got you into barefooting?
My dads best friend from high school (Carl Miller) had a 1982 Barefoot Supreme. He barefooted and my uncle barefooted. I thought barefooting was the coolest thing in the world. I continued to watch the barefooters at every water ski show I went to growing up (in Wisconsin we have plenty). I learned long line behind Carl's Barefoot Supreme. Thats all it took, I was hooked!
How did you learn to barefoot?
Long line off a kneeboard.
Who was your first barefoot instructor?

Tell us about your first tournament
My first tournament was the Wisconsin State Tournament at Kerry Tolzman's in Adams Frienship, Wi.
I remember getting a re-ride when I fell on my first trick (toehold). That was the last re-ride I got for the next ten years. I also remember all the "regulars" giving pointers and I reunited with an old friend Terry Schuler.
